Turkish Cuisine Cooking Classes


If you feel ready to be lost amidst the delights of a land where the continents meet and civilizations flourish, then this introductory course on Turkish Cuisine will be just for you!


Ottoman Cuisine is regarded as the richest in the World; it is made up of all sorts of vegetables, natural grains, nuts, fruits, red meat, fish, game and poultry. Turkish Cuisine essentially continues where the Ottoman Cuisine leaves off, and it is a synthesis of the cuisines of all the nations and civilizations that once thrived on the lands of the Empire.


Chef Myra C. Yaman, will unlock the gates of this sophisticated and delicate cuisine and will introduce you some of the dishes that were once served on the Sultan’s Table. You'll enjoy a full meal;  start with a “Mezze Platter” composing of several dips and spreads refined with the complexity of nuts and herbs, discover the different layers of taste in “Sultan’s Delight”, a veal/lamb stew served on a bed of creamy eggplant puree and reward your taste buds with simple but delicious “Candied Pumpkin”.


This course will be both on ‘hands-on’ and ‘demonstration’ basis, so you will have plenty of time to cook, to eat and to enjoy the evening.
